Guest speaker Dr. Tim Hanks joined us on January 29th and taught us about the neurobiology of decision-making. There was a social hour and light refreshments!
Dr. Hanks is an Assistant Professor at the UC Davis Center for Neuroscience. He talked about his current research on decision making recently published in Nature, and asked questions such as, "How do neural circuits transform accumulated evidence into a discrete choice?"
